A3Calc is a calculator program for Windows and EPOC (Nokia 92XX Communicator) platforms. The Windows version is "PostcardWare" and the EPOC version is commercial. You enter calculations in expression form. For example, input "1+1" and the output "2" results. Standard operators (+-/*^) and functions (trigonometric, exponential, logarithmic etc) are supported. A3Calc is BASIC programmable. You can program your own functions and save the BASIC code in text files (*.BAS). No programming tools are needed; a text editor suffices. The same BASIC files work on all supported platforms. A3Calc BASIC supports many important language structures, such as variables, arrays, functions, subroutines, branching and looping statements. There is (practically) no limit on how long your code can be. The BASIC interpreter is highly optimized and runs fast enough for most purposes even on Nokia 92XX. You can customize A3Calc so that it automatically loads the BASIC files you need at startup. Also, you can attach functions and subroutines to function buttons, so they are readily available. A3Calc is delivered with a collection of BASIC applications. Also, a comprehensive programming guide (and other documentation) is included.
